Breaking Bread

Breaking the Bread brought together Claudio La Mattina, Andrea Popović, Charlie Russell, Pei-Yi Tsai, Shane Berkery and Lucia Martínez García for a group exhibition set within a functioning restaurant. Combining painting and photography, the show unfolded around a shared dinner table, transforming the exhibition into a moment of conviviality and collective experience. In this intimate setting, the artworks became part of the social ritual of dining, blurring the boundaries between everyday gestures and artistic encounter, and inviting guests to reflect on the role of food, community and togetherness as spaces of connection.
